Win a date with reality!

Its late already...and my brain, my system still aint shuttin down. Sat down in front of the tv with my chilled chocolate milk and decided to browse through whatever programme that could entertain the little spark of soberness that is still left in me. Discovery..no..mtv...no..ESPN..no...yawn...HBO...Hmm..."Win a date with Tad Hamilton"...catchy...Had no idea wat it was...Ended up watching the whole movie. Well, it was just a simple romantic comedy, nothing serious or intense. Just what i needed at this hour. It tells of a romantic stint where a girl from a never-heard-before-town won this supposedly "date" with Tad Hamilton, a supposedly big hollywood star, through a contest. Its like winning a date with Brad Pitt..or Cruise...The story escalates to a point where Mr. Hollywood fell for this girl . Oh yeah..she went by the name Rosalee. Meanwhile Rosalee's best friend for 22 yrs fell for her in the midst of the glamouring process of Tad and Rosalee . Maybe i should leave the rest to you guys who are interested in watchin the movie :P It was okay...it just left me with a question at the end..."Reality doesn't fail to play tricks on us does it?"

Chance. A gift from above.

The other day, i went to renew my passport as it will be expiring at the end of this year. So i went down to the immigration department with dad. It was like a information built into my mind as well as others that the cost of renewing or making a new passport with the validity period of five years were to cost RM300. Well, as i was filling up the form, in came my friend. Gliding blissfully towards me, as he always does, we exchanged greetings. A moment after that, he asked me the golden question which made my day. "Did you know that as a student, you could get a discount of 50%?". It struck me like a wind lottery. Well, NO i DID NOT KNOW about that. And neither did the officer supplied that info. The website was down, not surprising. I presented my student pass and yes, i paid RM150 instead. Praise the Lord for that!!

Trip to KL. Delicious.

Well well. I told one of my friends that i was going down to kl for a very important purpose; Food. she laughed. Why does someone from Island de Penang has to go all the way down to kl for food?? As ironic as it may seem, Kl offers a wider variety of food compared to Penang. Went for DimSum, Spanish Food, One-Arm-length steak that melts-in-you-mouth, Roti nan garlic and many more that i'm struggling to remember because of of brain saturation due to excessive intake. Among the highlights were: bought a lamp from IKEA, Watched Zidane played in finals, Watched tons of DVDs, Experience iMax 3d movie...overall quite a nice trip. It helps when you have someone to drive you around. Many thanks to cousin bro for that. PeaceMarn!

Picture Perfect?

WELL WELL. I'm currently in Kuala Lumpur. and I'm Lovin It. Have been going around...its not just another big city. You just see some things that you do not see often. Life. Humans. Perceptions. Assumptions. Smiles. It was like a live picture being painted in front of your very eyes. Quite a pretty picture though. If we could just control ourselves sometimes and dun go headbutting other people. Grins.
